Abstract
The statistics of accidents in Ukraine and the European Union is analyzed in the article. The necessity of reducing the risks of professional activity by raising awareness of safety issues in universities and in the workplace is based. The modern problems and the ways of their overcoming in the direction of the formation of collective consciousness in the necessity of paying attention to safety are considered.Keywords: safety, injuries, accidents, training, European Union, organization of work.
